Co-Curricular
Unlocking potential beyond the classroom
here at ACC Southlands

At ACC Southlands, we believe true learning stretches far beyond textbooks. Our co-curricular programs offer a rich journey for every student, helping them discover new passions, build lasting skills, and connect with their community. We see these activities as vital steps in a child's growth, shaping them into well-rounded, confident individuals.

Explore,
Discover, Grow
Imagine your child finding their rhythm in concert band, growing in confidence as they learn an instrument, or discovering the joy of performing with others. Beyond music, students can explore a wide range of opportunities, from nurturing nature in our thriving garden to mastering the trails with Mountain Biking. They can dive into the waves with Surf Life Saving and Surfing, develop teamwork through soccer and volleyball, or make a difference through Beach Clean Up Australia. These experiences help students discover their interests, build discipline and resilience, and feel a deeper sense of belonging within the school community.

Building Skills,
Building Character
Through every co-curricular experience, students build essential life skills. They learn the value of teamwork on the sports field and in the band, the reward of patience in the garden, and the joy of serving others during community clean-ups. Our outdoor education programs challenge them to adapt and thrive in nature. These shared journeys create strong bonds among students and staff, fostering leadership, empathy, and a lasting respect for God's world and each other. We are here to guide your child every step of the way, helping them uncover their unique gifts and grow with purpose.

Sport: Teamwork,
Tenacity, and Joy
Sport is a key part of life at ACC Southlands. Our students have many opportunities to compete at interschool competitions and our exciting House Sporting Carnivals.
More than just games, sport builds resilience, teamwork and school spirit. Every opportunity to compete is an opportunity to learn, grow and be part of something bigger.
