Where the Adventure

We know that starting Kindergarten is a big, exciting milestone for a family. At ACC, we welcome children into a community designed to make this first step into school a joyful one. Our goal is to provide a warm, nurturing start where strong foundations are built for a lifetime of happy and confident learning.

A Day of Wonder and Play

Each day in our Kindergarten is full of discovery. Offered five days per fortnight during the school term, the program gives our youngest learners a consistent, gentle rhythm. From day one, children are welcomed into our wider primary school family, making friends and finding their place. Guided by Australia’s national learning frameworks, our play-based approach creates a safe, loving space where curiosity leads the way. Each day blends laughter, music, stories, and play to help children explore and grow.

Building a Love for Learning

Kindergarten is where a love of learning begins. We prepare children for their entire school journey through engaging games that introduce early literacy and numeracy, and through art and music that spark creativity. Children join whole-school activities like assemblies and sports days, helping them feel part of our community. Grounded in Christian values, this approach helps each child build confidence, make friends, and start their learning.

The Advantage of a Gentle Start

Our Kindergarten offers a wonderful bridge into the more formal parts of school life. The smooth, gentle transition into Pre-Primary is a key advantage. Children who start in our Kindy program are already comfortable and familiar with the school environment. They have positive relationships with teachers and friends, and they understand the daily routines. This feeling of belonging makes the move into their next year of learning an exciting and successful step.
