At ACC Darling Downs, we believe education extends far beyond the classroom walls. Our co-curricular programs are designed to help every student discover their passions, build new skills, and grow in character. From sports and the arts to leadership and academic enrichment, there’s a place for every child to explore their interests in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Serving Our Community

A core part of our mission is to raise young men and women who serve others with confidence and compassion. Our Service Learning program is where this comes to life. Through hands-on initiatives, students develop a heart for their community and the skills to make a real difference. Key projects include our sustainability programs, like the kitchen garden and waste management and community-building through Food Bank drives. These initiatives go beyond activities, building character and service.

Exploring Talents
and Interests

We offer a wide range of activities to spark curiosity and creativity. Students can develop public speaking, take on leadership from Year 5, join choir, dance, and drama classes. For those interested in technology and problem-solving, our robotics and STEM enrichment through the CoRE partnership provides exciting challenges. We also offer instrumental and performance music, food technology, and after-school tutoring to support academic growth.

Active and Healthy
Lifestyles

We encourage a balanced, active, and healthy lifestyle. Students develop teamwork and sportsmanship through interschool Christian competitions in netball, soccer, basketball, and cross country, while Physical Recreation classes explore fitness styles from CrossFit to self-defence. They can also connect with friends in our Chaplain-run Games Club or JOLT (Jesus Over Lunch Time), and our camps and excursions program builds resilience and lasting memories. Next year, we’re excited to expand our secondary interschool sports program.
