ACC Echuca, is located at Echuca, Victoria, and is a P-10, co-ed, Christian school. Secondary year groups are being added each year until P-12 is catered for.

Core Responsibilities & Duties

  • Living out your faith in a Christian school community
  • Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. Ensure safe practices are observed by visitors to the College
  • Answer incoming calls, managing competing demands in a calm and professional manner
  • Manage the College emails
  • Booking appointments as required
  • Ensure a warm, friendly and welcoming manner
  • Maintains safety by operating or initiating emergency systems as trained and required.
  • To be a team member, supporting the administration processes of the College.
  • Contribute to the holistic care and welfare of students
  • Demonstrate a commitment to improving professional practice through professional development
  • Provide a child safe environment in accordance with the child safe standards;
  • Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training provided by the school and always follow the school’s child safety and wellbeing policies and procedures;
  • Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct;
  • Identify and raise concerns about child safety issues in accordance with our Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures, including following the Four Critical Actions for Schools;
  • Ensure students’ views are taken seriously and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives;
  • Model and promote the vision and values of the school;
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings as required;
  • Be actively involved in regular staff devotions and prayer.

This permanent part time position (3 days a week, 0.6FTE) will start Wednesday 3 April 2024 or as soon as is practicable thereafter.

Qualifications

  • Evidence of the right to work in Australia
  • Proof of identity
  • Clearance status of the Working with Children Check
  • References from previous child-connected roles

You will:

  • Have suitable qualifications and/or experience in administration
  • Be a committed Christian, comfortable with sharing your faith
  • Relate well to staff, students and parents
  • Have a servant heart
