Multiple Secondary & VCE Teaching Opportunities – 2027

Due to significant and continued enrolment growth, ACC Victoria Online is expanding its Secondary and VCE teaching team for 2027. We are seeking passionate, highly capable Christian educators who are excited by the opportunity to engage students, build excellent learning experiences and contribute to the ongoing development of a growing online school.
We are particularly interested in teachers with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Biology
- Business Management
- Legal Studies
- Media
- Visual Communication and Design
- Applied Computing
- Physical Education
- Accounting
In addition we have leadership opportunities advertised separately:
- Year 5-8 Coordinator
- Year 9-12 Coordinator
- VCE Coordinator
- Daily Organisation and Timetable Coordinator
Ideally leadership applicants are able to fulfil one or more of the above teaching roles. Interest in one of those roles should be expressed in the cover letter.

We welcome applications from teachers seeking full-time or part-time employment, with teaching loads and combinations open to negotiation depending on the applicant's experience, subject areas and availability. Applicants who can teach across multiple subject areas are particularly encouraged to apply.

Core Responsibilities & Duties
- Plan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study;
- Competent in the use of ICT learning platforms, in particular, Canvas;
- Have the content knowledge and pedagogical practice to engage students in online learning
- Demonstrate a commitment to improving professional practice through coaching and professional development
- Provide a child-safe environment in accordance with the child-safe standards;
- Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training provided by the school and always follow the school’s child safety and wellbeing policies and procedures;
- Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct;
- Identify and raise concerns about child safety issues in accordance with our Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures, including following the Four Critical Actions for Schools;
- Ensure students’ views are taken seriously and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives;
- Model and promote the vision and values of the school;
- Teach an area of the curriculum to senior year levels and develop online VCE courses for delivery;
- Maintain records of class attendance and record student progress;
- Implement effective student management consistent with the school’s strategic plan;
- Attend and participate in staff meetings as required;
- Be actively involved in regular staff devotions and prayer.

Qualifications
- Evidence of the right to work in Australia
- Proof of identity
- Recognised teaching qualification
- Clearance status of the Working with Children Check (where applicable)
- Registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Statements of service from previous child-connected roles
- References from previous child-connected roles

- Be able to receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes.
- Be able to effectively plan for, collect and analyse educational data, then devise appropriate strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes.
