About the role

As a member of the College Leadership Team (CLT), the Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) provides leadership and direction for the Learning Support Team. The LSC contributes to the strategic direction for school-wide systems that support diverse learners. With responsibility for all aspects of managing the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) the LSC plays a key role in ensuring our students (K-12) are well known, well loved, and well taught. The successful candidate will commence full time at the beginning of Term 3 2026 or by negotiation.

Requirements

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence across the following three domains:

Administration & Compliance

  • High-level organisational skills to ensure accurate and timely completion of  NCCD processes, staff allocations, and the use of resources.
  • Proven ability to manage the creation of qualityIndividual Plans (IPs) including the identification of reasonable and appropriate adjustments to support the needs of each student.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage complex administrative workflows with precision.

Leadership & Relationships

  • Capacity to lead and supervise teams, fostering a culture of reflective practice and contributing to the professional growth of others. 
  • Refined interpersonal skills that promote transparent and respectful collaboration between  staff, parents, external specialists, and school leadership.
  • Ability to support and promote the vision of the school and collaborate with all stakeholders to help drive school-wide improvement.

Strategic Implementation & Student Outcomes

  • Experience in implementing Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI) and explicit instruction approaches.
  • Ability to collect and analyse student data to design, implement, and evaluate targeted intervention programs.
  • A proven track record of improving learning and wellbeing outcomes for students with diverse or complex needs through a knowledge-rich curriculum.

About you

  • Have an active Christian faith.
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications and NESA accreditation.
  • Hold a current Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • A Learning Support Teacher with experience across Kinder - Year 12.
