
Student Attributes
We have identified 12 student attributes that we are fostering in our students. These attributes are encouraged throughout the school community.

Christ-centred
They are joyful, content and thankful for the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross. Their gratitude is based on the hope of salvation that is the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross.

Resilient
They maintain composure when faced with challenges and opportunities. They have the ability to bounce back from setbacks or difficult times and respond to all situations with courage.

Compassionate
They show empathy and care towards others around them. When faced with the chance of not being valued, they help those who cannot always help themselves, and focus on making a positive impact in their community.

Humble
They demonstrate their self-importance to please and serve God's creation. They recognise the impact of their actions and display humility in a reflection of their maker, which is a growth each day as great cost.

Grateful
They are joyful, concerned and thankful for the spiritual, material and personal disposition. They demonstrate their thanks to God based on the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross.

Self-controlled
They are a self-disciplined learner, recognising that this is not a natural disposition. They are able to learn, understand, and choose to act in line with God's plan. They think before they act and choose their words before speaking.

Curious
They ask good questions and are eager for knowledge. Their inquiries actively stimulate higher-level thinking and research. They seek answers, expand their horizons, and find pleasure in the discovery.

Creative
They exercise creativity in a broad range of activities from academic to extra-curricular, critical thinking. They apply to a visual, a creative method to develop compelling narratives, and expressions.

Communicative
They are able to communicate while being both ready and willing, with a variety of people, confidently and respectfully. They are competent speakers and writers in all areas, and communicate in a manner that is friendly, purposeful and hospitable.

Critical thinking
They construct arguments for an appropriate breakdown, creating logical tests and based on evidence and reasoning. They can independently evaluate and interpret information and the reliability of sources, and are open to an alternative point of view.

Collaborative
They realise their perspective is not the only valid one but seek to work with others to arrive at a solution or outcome. They look for opportunities to create collaborative partnerships, and connect for the advancement of shared goals.

Reflective
They take the time to reflect on learning, celebrate successes and identify areas for improvement. They use this feedback to plan further, set personal goals and understand their individual learning journey.
