Learning That Lasts

a Lifetime
Young primary student learning from home with headphones and laptop

The early years of schooling are full of questions: big ones, small ones, and sometimes the kind that can't be answered with a worksheet. At ACC Distance Education, we believe those questions matter. From Kindergarten to Year 6, we walk alongside families to help children grow in knowledge, confidence, and character, all while learning in the safety and rhythm of home.

Here, students are known, loved and taught, not just for what they can do, but for who they are becoming.

School, But Not As You Know It

Distance Education offers a different kind of school day, one that happens around the kitchen table, the backyard, or wherever your family life unfolds.

With a flexible daily rhythm, students can learn at their own pace while staying connected to a clear plan and a caring teacher. And with the steady support of a parent or guardian as their Onsite Supervisor, they never have to figure it all out alone.

Learning That Grows With Them

Our flexible learning day averages six hours, including breaks and creative time. Each week, students engage with lessons through:

  • Short teaching videos
  • Activities that spark curiosity
  • Quick quizzes to confirm understanding

To balance screen time with valuable hands-on learning, students also receive a physical resource pack with printed workbooks and offline activities.

Learning
Together

In the primary years, especially the early stages, students need gentle guidance. That's where the Onsite Supervisor steps in, usually a parent or guardian who helps read instructions, explain concepts, and keep learning on track.
You don't have to be a teacher. You just need to be present, and we'll equip you with the tools and encouragement to support your child well.

Learning That's Personal

Students submit key learning samples each term, sometimes as photos, videos, or scanned tasks. These are reviewed by your child's teacher, who offers thoughtful feedback and guidance. Not every task needs to be submitted, but each one builds confidence over time.
Our focus is progress, not perfection.

Is My Child Ready?

Kindy and early primary students will need hands-on help throughout the day. As they grow, they begin to develop more independence, and we'll support that step by step. This program suits students who:

  • Are emotionally ready for a school routine
  • Can engage with stories, sounds, numbers and simple instructions
  • Thrive in a quieter, more one-on-one setting
  • Have a caring adult available during school hours

We'll help you find your feet, and stay in touch regularly so you never feel like you're doing this on your own.

More Than A Curriculum

In Primary Distance Education, we focus on the whole child, nurturing not just academic growth, but emotional and spiritual development, too.

We believe every child is created by God with unique potential. And when we partner together, home and school, teachers and families, learning becomes something that impacts far beyond the classroom.
