Enrolment FAQ

We offer Distance Education for NSW residents from Kindergarten to Year 12.

If you're living outside NSW, you may be eligible to enrol with another ACC DE school.

We welcome every enquiry with care, but we don't accept every application.

That's because Distance Education isn't a one-size-fits-all model. We want to make sure each student we enrol is set up to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

We consider:

• Whether Distance Education is a good fit for your child's learning style
• If there's a suitable learning environment at home
• If your child will have the support of an Onsite Supervisor during school hours

If we believe another option might serve your child better, we'll be honest, and we'll do our best to help you explore what comes next. Because your child's growth matters to us, whether they enrol with us or not.

We'll walk with you through it all. Here's what helps most:

• A committed Onsite Supervisor (usually a parent or guardian)
• A quiet, structured learning space
• A reliable Apple MacBook (2021 or newer), internet access, and printer/scanner
• A willingness to partner closely with our team to support learning from home

Yes. We accept enrolments throughout the year.

Some year levels have set intake dates to support curriculum continuity and assessments. We'll guide you through your options based on timing and availability.

Once your application is complete, we aim to give you a decision within two weeks.

If extra steps (like a planning meeting) are needed, we'll keep things moving and support you through the process.

We support a wide range of learners, and we approach each student with care.

For students with additional needs, we may schedule a collaborative planning meeting to explore how Distance Education can best serve them.
