DE Opportunities
A Learning Journey That’s

At ACC Marsden Park, Distance Education isn't just about what happens in lessons. It's about the whole student. From faith and friendships to creativity and real-world skills, our DE students are invited into a school experience that is full, connected, and deeply personal.
Here's a look at the many ways our students can engage, grow, and belong, wherever they are.
Faith & Connection
Spaces to Reflect, Belong & Grow.
Chapel
(fortnightly): A space to hear from God’s Word, reflect on life, and find encouragement in community.
Class Connect
(fortnightly): Led by mentors, these sessions focus on emotional wellbeing, belonging, and real-life conversations.
JOLT
(Jesus Over Lunch Time)
A relaxed gathering where Secondary students can explore faith, enjoy connection, and be encouraged in their walk with Jesus.
Connect Days & Carnivals
Optional in-person events held across the state to help DE students meet, have fun, and feel part of something bigger.
Learning & Growth
Support that strengthens skills & confidence.
Class Tutorials
Live academic sessions to revisit key ideas, ask questions, and connect with teachers and classmates.
Study Skills Seminars
Practical sessions on managing time, preparing for assessments, and studying well, with support for parents too.
Practical Days
(Stage 6)
In-person learning for students enrolled in hands-on HSC subjects like Science, Technology and Food Tech.
These opportunities build not just academic confidence,
but resilience and independence too.

Creativity & Celebration
Moments to Express, Explore & Be Recognised.
Premier’s Reading Challenge
Encouraging a love for books and stories through a state-wide challenge.
CEM Portraiture Prize
A visual art competition exploring creativity, identity, and expression through portraiture.
Excelencia & Excelencia Live
Our College-wide recognition program, celebrating student excellence in academics, growth, service, and more, with live features and community celebration.
These are the moments where students are reminded:
what you're doing matters, and we see it.
These extra opportunities are part of what makes Distance Education at ACC Marsden Park so rich and meaningful. Whether it's pausing for Chapel, joining a Connect Day, or being recognised in Excelencia, we want our students to feel connected, not just to their learning, but to their purpose.
