Exciting News for Cranbourne South

We’re pleased to share an important update about the future of ACC Casey.
As many in the community may have noticed, our school has moved from Skye to a beautiful new location in Cranbourne South. As we begin this next chapter, we want to provide clarity about what is happening on the site, what local residents may see in the months ahead, and how we are seeking to contribute positively to the area.
We understand that when a new project begins, people naturally want to know how it will affect the character and environment of their local community. We share that concern, and we want our neighbours to know that these considerations have been part of our planning from the beginning.

A Design That Respects Its Surroundings
Our new site sits on the edge of a green wedge zone, and we take that responsibility seriously.
Located west of the Royal Botanic Gardens, beside the growing Botanic Ridge neighbourhood, and east of Cranbourne-Frankston Road, the site marks an important transition point between residential development and open green land. Our masterplan has been carefully designed to respond to that setting.
Rather than imposing on the landscape, the campus has been planned to sit naturally within it. Large areas of the site will remain open for landscaping and generous views, helping preserve a sense of space across the property. The buildings themselves have also been designed to reflect the area’s character, drawing on the site’s agricultural heritage through features such as pitched rooflines and external timber elements.
Our goal is to create a school environment that feels considered, fitting and respectful of its surroundings.
Protecting Local Wildlife
A key feature of the site is the preservation of a dedicated bandicoot corridor.
This area has been specifically set aside to support and protect the local Southern Brown Bandicoot population, allowing wildlife to continue moving safely through the landscape as the school community grows. Caring for the natural environment is an important part of our responsibility in this location, and this corridor forms a meaningful part of that commitment.
Understanding the Planning Process
As planning progresses, nearby residents may receive official notifications relating to planning applications and works across the site.
To avoid confusion, it is important to note that there are multiple pathways of work being undertaken, and these may occur at different times across 2026 and 2027. As one of our immediate neighbours, you may receive communication about more than one aspect of the development.
Please be assured that these processes form part of a coordinated approach to deliver quality education facilities and community spaces while also meeting environmental and planning obligations.
We’re Here to Listen
We are committed to being good neighbours and to keeping communication open as we become part of the Cranbourne South community.
We look forward to growing alongside the area and contributing positively to the life of this community in the years ahead.
