BYOD MODEL
Tehnology Requirements ACC has a BYOD (bring your own device) model based on the educational advantage that this technology provides for student learning. Each student is required to bring in their own device (dependent on their year level), which is supported by the ICT environment and the familiarity of staff members. This ensures there is minimal interruption during class time and allows teaching staff to engage more effectively with students.iPad
Anyone of the following iPad models is suitable:
- 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2nd generation)
- 12.9-inch iPad Pro (1st generation)
- 10.5-inch iPad Pro
- 9.7-inch iPad Pro
- iPad Air 2
- iPad Air
- iPad (5th generation)
- iPad (6th generation)
iPad Mini (2, 3 or 4) devices are no longer accepted by NAPLAN due to the compatibility of the lockdown browser.
For those students completing ACER or NAPLAN testing, headphones are required in addition to the device. It is advised that a suitable case or cover should also be purchased to protect the device.
It is advised that a suitable iPad case or cover (No larger than 23CM in total width, for classroom management) should be purchased to protect the device.
