ACC Southlands is a growing school community located in the beautiful city of Albany, at the southern tip of WA (approx. 5 hours south of Perth). The campus consists of a secondary school and primary school, offering on-campus education and distance education. We are focused on sustainably stewarding God’s creation and we have a heart that all students will be well known, well loved, and well taught.

About the role

An opportunity exists to join a fantastic, committed Christian team, in teaching and supporting students within a Christian environment and biblical worldview. We are seeking a capable and relational** languages teacher** who desires to inspire our student community in language and cultural learning. This is a 2 day per week role with potential for growth.

This position is expected to start on, or as soon after, the 23rd of January 2023.

About you

  • You have suitable qualifications and experience (Mandarin desirable).
  • You possess the capacity and willingness to work with other staff to devise strategies that help improve student learning.
  • You have a servant heart and an active Christian faith.
  • You will be highly empathetic and able to consider the needs of families while progressing the delivery of service in a timely manner.
  • You’ll thrive when working collaboratively and when given the opportunity to show initiative.
  • You are organised and have good attention to detail.
  • You hold a valid and current Working with Children Check

  • Be part of a faith community that shares regular devotions and prayer.
  • Play an active part in growing the school and providing quality Christian education to students.
