Australian Christian College is part of Christian Education Ministries, with 12 schools in 5 states, and is also the largest non-government Distance Education provider in Australia.

ACC Marsden Park is a K-12, co-educational College located in the thriving North West growth corridor of Sydney in a semi-rural setting and is experiencing sustained growth. In 2023, over 1000 students are learning with us on-campus and over 600 students are learning via our Distance Education program for a total enrolment of 1600 students.

About the role

If you're looking to advance your ICT skills, work across a diversity of technologies and acquire more expertise as you go, then you're invited to consider this exciting opportunity. CEM pioneers many unique and best of breed technologies you will gain exposure and experience with.

The ICT Support Officer role contributes to the mission of CEM by supporting and maintaining the ICT needs of ACC Marsden Park. It will be based at the College in Riverstone, providing onsite support to the students and staff.

The full-time role will commence as soon as is practicably possible, and you will be reporting directly to the Group ICT Manager.

A typical week in this role would include:

  • Providing general support to end-users and solving their computing problems in a timely manner or effectively triaging their issues
  • Supporting software and applications, telecommunications and data services for the school.
  • Assisting in maintaining CEM’s ICT infrastructure, equipment and facilities.
  • Management of user accounts within the various online learning platforms.
  • Providing ICT support to the Group ICT Manager across the CEM Group.

About you

  • You’ll be comfortable with our key end-user systems:
    • Google Suite
    • Apple Mac and iOS
    • Microsoft
    • Canvas
    • Jamf
  • And our key back-end systems:
    • Microsoft Windows Server
    • Okta
    • Aruba LAN/WAN/Wireless Networking and Telecommunications
  • You’re solutions-focused and have an ability to complete multiple tasks on tight deadlines.
  • You’ll have excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills.
  • You’ll have the ability to work independently and also within a team to produce excellent outcomes.
  • You have a servant heart and vibrant Christian faith.
