Distance Education Learning Program

Given that this learning program is delivered via distance education, you’ll appreciate the necessity to make it unique. So, here’s how:Australian Christian College - Marsden Park

  • Teachers deliver lessons according to a weekly timetable (average of 2-4 lessons per week).
  • Course work is delivered in a flexible environment – allowing students to complete their work at a suitable time.
  • Students complete work online and through traditional textbooks and projects.
  • Students in K-6 are enrolled in seven courses of study: Maths, English, Science & Technology, HSIE, Creative & Practical Arts, PDHPE, and Bible (school developed course).
  • Students in 7-10 are enrolled in the following courses: Maths, English, Science, Technology (mandatory, 7-8), History, Bible (school developed course), Geography, Music (7-8), Visual Art (7-8), Food Technology (9-10), Photography and Digital Media (9-10) and PDHPE (7-10).
  • Students can meet with other students online to discuss their school work, hobbies and sports.

The Australian Christian College distance education learning program is an emerging part of a wider community of online learning in Australia. We regularly consult with government, universities and other schools on this topic.
